As of May 30, thanks to some hard work by students and their many supporters, our 2019 Argus-Press Matching Fund has been exhausted!

The Matching Fund is made possible by a generous donation from The Argus-Press in Owosso and allows MIPA to match up to the first $50 raised via SponsorMe toward a student’s MIPA Summer Journalism Workshop registration fee.

Matching funds have been applied to all eligible student SponsorMe campaigns, in the order that campaign contributions were received.

While we may be out of Matching Fund dollars, SponsorMe will continue to be available for use by students. Every dollar raised gets applied toward the student’s camp registration fee.

We apply matching funds to student SponsorMe campaigns once or twice a week, in the order that we receive campaign contributions. Every dollar you raise gets applied toward your camp registration fee.
