Campaign Story

Hi potential donors, my name is Taylor Gabrielson! I am a 16-year-old journalist ready to take my talents to the next level. I write for The Cougar Crier, my school’s newspaper, and I love it! I chose to write for this class because I want to study journalism in college. I am involved in many clubs at my school and I am a cheerleader. I love doing the stuff I do because I can help the community and my school 🙂 I would love to attend the Michigan Interscholastic Press Association (MIPA) Summer Workshop because writing is my passion. I am starting a biweekly show through the school newspaper titled, “CCTV.” If I go to MIPA I will be able to take a class that’ll enhance my broadcast skills, which will benefit both me and my fellow writers on the Crier staff!
